Helping Families In Need This Holiday Season With The Boise Rescue Mission Ministries

This time of year is such a joyous affair. It is a time for fellowship and family and presents and joy. But, for some it can be the most difficult time of year. If a family is in need or financial crisis, then the holiday season can be the most stressful time of year. Keeping that in mind, we feel it is very important to always be thinking about how to give back to our fellow Treasure Valley community.

The Fruit Of The Giving Tree

We are proud to announce that we are setting up a “Giving Tree” in our company’s warehouse for the 2nd year in a row. The “Giving Tree” is a special tree that is adorned with many ornaments (tags) upon which is inscribed the various toys/clothes/gift cards that the children would want as gifts for Christmas. Our staff will then take the gift tags off the tree and purchase the items written on the ornaments and place the items back under the tree. Once all of the ornaments have been spoken for, everything is gathered up and returned to the Rescue Mission for them to distribute to the children on a special day in December.
