Cooking With The Family

Cooking is one of the best hobbies out there, even in this highly tech-obsessed day and age. It is something that you can introduce to a child at an early age and something that can be enjoyed and practiced at any age. Can’t say the same for bull riding or sky diving as hobbies! Although cooking provides a little less of a rush than those other riskier hobbies, it can be a skill that can help your child become more creative, explore different cultures, and build lifelong friendships. It’s also just a fun way to enjoy spending time together as a family this or any summer!

Want to try something completely different? The Boise Co-Op is offering a great assortment of painting classes all summer long! Painting can be a great way to express yourself as well as learn a new skill. You can even sign up to paint a portrait of your pet! 

Get Some Exercise Together… With a Purpose!

Working out is generally seen as a chore, even though it is very good for you and helps you stay healthy and in shape. But, you can turn that “chore” into something good for the community and have fun while you’re at it! That’s right, you can get a good bit of exercise and do some good while volunteering to clean up the Greenbelt.
